Watch Party for 1619 Speaks Launch + Reading Join the Synod Mission Team for Anti-Racism at the newly-dedicated Nelson Trout Chapel, at the Southwest California Synod offices, for a watch party celebrating the launch of “1619 Speaks” — an anthology of African-American poets. We will view a virtual presentation originating at the Sims Library of Poetry, and share a meal with conversation around how we can create Beloved Community together.
