Volunteers Needed: Lutheran Build Day in Altadena

Volunteers are needed for Lutheran Build Day, a partnership with Habitat for Humanity supporting families displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires.

The build day will take place on Friday, March 7, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in Altadena. Volunteers must be 16 years or older, and space is limited.

Those interested in construction work should sign up directly with Habitat for Humanity at bit.ly/LutheransBuildDay.

For those unable to participate in construction, lunch support volunteers are also needed. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. at Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church in Altadena, and participants are invited to bring dishes, snacks, or drinks to support the volunteers.

Donations toward the lunch fund can be made at bit.ly/LutheransLunch.

To sign up to serve lunch, contact Victoria Villa, Disaster Relief Coordinator, at victoria@socalsynod.org. Registration deadline is Monday, February 23.
