Applications Open for Certificate in Climate Justice and Faith at PLTS
The Center for Climate Justice and Faith at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary is accepting applications to their Certificate in Climate Justice and Faith program. This program is designed for lay leaders and clergy members from around the world who want to be effective advocates for climate justice. Students will grow their faith, practice skills, gain knowledge, and build community to empower them to address the climate crisis.
This two-semester program will begin September 2026 and end May 2027. A 100% online curriculum allows students from around the world to build relationships through bi-monthly small group meetings on Zoom. Since launching in 2021, students from 29 countries and five continents have participated. The full cost of the program is $600. Scholarships of up to $550 are available if needed, please do not let finances prevent you from applying.

He joins us for a discussion that looks beyond sobriety, sharing his perspective on how to build a life that keeps growing – not just maintaining sobriety. Join Bishop Bos and Lutheran leaders for a special All-Lutheran Prayer Vigil with CLUE and community partners, standing in faith and solidarity for those who have been disappeared by ICE.
📅 Tuesday, April 28, 2026, 12–1 p.m.
📍 Los Angeles Federal Building, 300 N Los Angeles St, Los Angeles, CA
Parking is available across the street from the building, and we gather on the sidewalk in front. The entire vigil lasts about an hour and concludes with prayer. This is a powerful Christian witness for all people.
